Addresses all the health needs of the international traveler.
Serves as a single source for up-to-date, accurate and reliable travel health information.
Provides all pre-travel information, advises on food-borne disease mosquito/insect-borne disease, vaccine-preventable illness.
Provides all vaccinations and validates the International Certificates of vaccination (ICV).
Supplies or prescribes medications for travel, including antidiarrheals and antimalarials.
Meets specific needs of individual travelers (e.g. those with chronic health problems).

What is travel medicine?

Travel medicine is an interdisciplinary specialty concerned with the prevention and management of health problems associated with travel.

The travel health practitioner is an expert in destination specific health risks and preventative measures. Travel medicine specialists address and respond to travelers' disease, epidemic and vaccination issues, and monitor governmental and regulatory agencies such as the CDC and WHO.
